Kate Chatzi Well, hello everyone! I think that the correct pronunciation -and according to ancient roman and greek sources- is Voadikia (Βοαδικεία) . In greek when we refer to her we use other names too, such as Voudiki (Βουδίκη) or the well known Boudica.

Morandir Armson As a long-time admirer of the Queen of the Iceni, I am now perplexed as to the exact pronunciation of our heroine's name. As we all know, Shakespeare pronounced her name as "Bo-da-see-ah", but that is no longer accepted. Is her name pronounced "Booh-dee-ka"? Is it "Boo-dig-ah"? Are there other possibilities? What do people think?
