I'm mad for museums, especially the more curious and small ones. I live in the UK and have found some great little museums here like 'Sir John Soane’s Musuem', 'The Old Operating Theatre Museum' in Southwark and 'The Pencil Museum' in Keswick. Im also interested in hearing about similar museums in other parts of the wo...rld, and I've started my own Facebook group called 'Small Museums Appreciation' group http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group .php?gid=160792929525. I'd love to meet some new people as I'm new to Facebook so please come and join me if you're interested.Read more

Greetings to the folks at CMT!
I've been asked by Contemporary Doll Collector Magzine to interview several artists for a piece about figures that move (from ventriliquist figures to automata). Would you be available to participate? My most recent article for CDC is currently their cover story called "Ball Jointed Dolls".... I have attached a picture of the current cover.
Please let me know! I love the Cabaret Mechanical Theatre and it would be fabulous to include you in this piece!
Best,

I've been a big fun of you since I was studying in London. I had no idea that this Covent Garden gem is no longer there...so sad......:-(
but I guess it is nice to know that you organize shows in various places......you have a wonderful collection.......

Where did you go? I have only just found out and am deeply saddened (I feel really quite emotional) that the Cabaret Mechanical Theatre in Covent Garden is no longer there. I loved you, it was the most wondrously enchanting place to have discovered as an 11 year old out and about without her parents for one of the firs...t times, tucked away beneath all the hustle and noise of the markets, it was almost a secret. I came back and visited time and time again. I am now all grown up with children of my own and so very sad it's not there anymore, are there any plans to exhibit in London anytime soon?...Read more
