Peter, I do agree with one sentence. The EU is a 'real treat" and I do take it very seriously. However any assertion that the EU is in fact a communist dictatorship affirms me in the belief that you have no idea what you are talking about.

DO YOU MEAN 'THREAT' OR 'TREAT'? And how can it be about domination of nations - do you not realise that this Treaty has already been negotiated and agreed by every government in the EU, the directly elected parliamentarians of the Europarl, and has been endorsed by the Commission, not to mention its legality being upheld by the supreme courts of Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Italy etc. It is easier to change the German constitution than the EU Treaties.

Not that molecular Physic would be of any use in this debate Liz you hot thing but I[m not sure if you have noticed Liz the eU was inb fact set up to prevent the exact kind of totalitarian oppression you are going on about. All the nations come together voluntarily to put in place a framework that avoids war and nazi/stalin style Gov's. For 50 ... Read moreyears we have had peace, prosperity and progressive protection of liberal social values. PPl have more rights now then they ever did. The EU has provided for these or protected them in many cases. You are blinded by your complete paranoia re andy kind of institution of this kind. The EU has been a majoer force for good and to not recognise that simply displays how out of touch you really are. Q-Why are all the former eastern Euro nations who up to recently lived under the oppression of the USSR that you write of, now scrambling to join the EU. So they can be back under dicataorship because they loved it so much? NO, because they recognise better than most that the eU is a beacon of freedoma and human rights and prosperity. I still love you though xxx

Liz, I cant help but notice that yiou are getting a little feisty and defensive here. goes with the territory i guess. It really is quite a vivid picture of the gulag you paint -p i have also been to a few, it aint great, but i dont think it gives me the right to talk rubbish. If you look at some other post on this page, i replied to the dribble ... Read moreyou wrote about the 14 steps to world destruction. before you reply again, would you be so kind and take use that double first to give some real, factual, even legal sources to back up your statement -THAT THE LISBON TREATY IS THE PROBLEM (see 14 points post for details). incidentally, what was your studw

I would never have guessed with a surname like Galvin :-) Point 9 of your unsavoury facts-how does that directly transfer to Ireland. If we left the EU the vast majority of multinationals-who provide 90% of our exports-would leave.
