Gayle Ritchie Many of us have been through the experience of DIVORCE. Just take a moment and think back to those trying times and all that we had to do just to survive each day. Isn't that what Kate and Jon are going through right now? Of course it is! The things that are TRUE from their lips, Not TABLOID crap is what alot of us have been through so lets not BE so judgemental....GOD IS THE ONLY JUDGE OF US!
Gayle Ritchie I have been through a messy Divorce, but we got through it with out people's comments of negativity and because of this, 4 years later we are able to talk and communicate like never b4. If we had all the media involved, people would have very negative feelings to both of us as well.
Gayle Ritchie So What is going to happen to the Kate +8 ....I'm a single mother and admire Kate for all that she is!....I want to see more of her and the children. If the NEGATIVE MEDIA PAPPARAZZI would butt out I don't think peoples opinions of Jon and Kate would be so negative.

I'm curious to know why do folks feel that TLC lied to us? IMO, I think TLC did not intentionally mislead us because the finale of Season 4 revealed they were starting to have different opinions on continuing with the show or not. Then the Season 5 opener was about their separation announcement. Even if the last cou...ple of episodes in Season 4 were filmed after the supposed "I'm done" discussion, I would think it's natural for TLC to maintain status quo and give J/K time to see if they work it out. In fact, if they had televised the very beginning of the rift immediately after it happened (Oct 2008), I would say they were just doing it for ratings and didn't care about J/K's marriage at all. But I think they did care and gave them time.Read more

The SHOW is not what is hurting the Gosselin children. What is hurting the children is the BS between their parents. They can stop filming Jon&Kate Plus 8, but I do not believe Jon and Kate will stop fighting it out in the media. So what will be accomplished? The show, as far as I can tell, is the only bit of normal, c...onsistent life they have had in the past year. It's the only bit of family they have that is still intact. Hard as I try I cannot forget this saying by a very wise person: "The best thing a father can do for his kids is to love their Mother".....somehow I think that going on national TV and telling the world that he "dispises Kate" is not such a good thing for his kids. Of course adding insult to injury would be to sleep ar...ound with anyone who says yes is also not a good thing for his kids....I don't know, but somehow I don't see these things so much as "faults" but as really bad judgement that totally ignores the children's feelings too. I can only imagine just how much this act of total disloyalty must hurt Kate, but also what must these words that John says about their Mother do to his children? Words that are out their forever no matter how much he says he wants to change. Personally I think that this does more damage to those kids then any tv show can do. But I am sure that I will be attacked by someone for expressing my opinion on this subject, but it is still my humble opinion. ThanksRead more
