Motown Records November 20: Marvin Gaye performs “Can I Get A Witness” on the U.K.’s Ready Steady Go television show in 1964, one of the last times he would travel to London until his 1976 tour. In ’65 on this date, the Miracles perform three songs on the U.S. teen dance show Hollywood A Go Go.

On this day in 1965 the Supremes have a Christmas single, “Twinkle Twinkle Little Me,” to accompany their Merry Christmas LP. The album includes one of Jimmy Webb’s first recorded songs.
