Cheryl Lee Condon i did my bit last week.. i reported an 8 week old puppy who had been left out in the 38-40degc heat with no shelter and her water was in the sun while the owner prob sat inside with the air con on ... no communication from it's owner apart from a 5min contact a day to feed it... people should get a fine as well for being so cruel to these poor helpless animals.

I have joined this site to do one thing, and that is to voice my absolute disgust after viewing an interview with Tim Wass speaking at the Cockermouth floods.
Why am I so disgusted?
Quite simply because smarmy individual with not a hair out of place, tried to best to explain what a sterling job THEY were doing not only r...escuing animals, but as is the case in these emergency situations, rescuing people.
You failed to mention Mr Wass, YOU didn't actually do very much, and YOUR people rescuers weren't involved in the more hazardous operations that members of the RNLI, Coastguard and Fire Service WERE involved in.
You didn't even have the decency to mention the fact your role was in reality rather small.
How do I know?
Being the wife of one of the rescuers who probably moved more people and animals than your own people, and certainly did a damn site more than you.Read more

Amanda Yeates Hi all i thought some of you may like to share 2FB groups i belong to as they have helped me help animals - as we are coming up to xmas time the breeders/puppy farms are increasing there ads when there are so many rescue animals out ther - FortheSake Ofanimals - spelt that way, have good tips on promoting rescues and - Anyone who is against animal cruelty- has petitions to sign. A dog breeder who dumped two litters of newborn puppies in suitcases and left
them to die has been banned from keeping animals for life. The poor puppies were simply left to die in these suitcases and unfortunately
some already had.
Chris Bell, Chair of magistrates said: "Amanda Cheadle,of Fletching near Uckfield, inten...ded to kill the puppies by
placing them in the suitcases leading to dehydration, starvation and
suffocation."

Hayley 'Gem' Berry I love the RSPCA and everything they do for animals. Anything can happen out there, you never can tell what the pricks who hurt animals are going to act like. I think you guys are very brave and do an excellent job, keep it up. =]
