Today really wasn't easy. Our Bangers4BEN effort took a crushing blow, followed by a crushing blow and then a final extra crushing blow.

RealBrawnGP.com will be disappearing for a few days, but not for a well deserved holiday. No, instead we'll be stuck inside an old Audi 90 that cost £120, and taking on the 1,800 mile challenge of Bangers4BEN, raising money for BEN, the automotive and allied trade benevolent fund.

The success of Brawn GP and Jenson Button has not gone unnoticed by the UK government, with MP Richard Burden tabling an early day motion requesting that the House of Commons celebrates the achievements of the Brackley team.

This weekend saw Jenson Button put in a huge effort to take the championship, starting from behind and making great efforts to push to the front but, unlike on track, it just wasn't enough in the RealBrawnGP.com For Sure Championship.
