We had a surprise visitor at our house today and I was mortified. My routines are quite superficial and I lack consistency. I have a tendency to crisis clean, maintain it for a week or so and then get burned out, bored or lazy. I'm up too late now, just finished cleaning the kitchen - I didn't want to wake up to th...at mess and even more didn't want my DH to - it's his day off. DH is a tidy person by nature and my habit of CHAOS creates tension between us. Sigh. I will get up tomorrow and start flying in earnest.....again. Heather O'Sullivan Told my DS (as he was playing w/clay in my clean sink!) that it better be 'sparkly' when i went to bed. Just looked, the dishes are Beside the sink next to the clorox - but the sink is shiny! ROFL!

Lottie Hancock tomorrow is crisis cleaning day! at least in this house. after our (yes me and my DH share the routines) morning routine we will have coffee then set our timer for 15. kitchen, dining room, livingroom, hall and guest bath all in its turn with the good old iced tea breaks mixed in there in Flylady style! Anyone want to join us?

OMG I'm so excited!!!! I'm actually on top of things for a change. I actually did an evening routine and it only took me 20 minutes!! Swifter vacuumed and wet mopped the kitchen floor, loaded the dishwaser and shined the sink, the coffee pot is set for the morning, I've even got prettty candles in the diningroom tab...le!!!
