Chad James Timbers I own all 4 seasons on DVD and watches them multiple times!!! I never got into Ny tv series before cuz I lost interest quickly. I own this show on DVD and I never buy DVDs. Come on!!! Season 5!! There is 18 different csi and ncis series' but yet they cancel this??? Stupid people!!! Bring it back!!!!!
Shannon Bernier Williamson I'm just about done with CBS. I only watch NCIS and CSI any more. Even then I'm just recording them. This is the 3 show they have cancelled when the viewer following was much better than say I don't know, Amazing Race. I mean come on!

This is so typical of network TV. Take a look at the CBS lineup - CSI / NCIS - the formula has been done to death!! The Unit was entertaining and BELIEVABLE!! Do the execs at CBS not feel their viewers have the intelligence to appreciate adventure/drama with a story line that doesn't look like it's either taken from... the pages of a comic book or using gratuitous forensic special effects for shock value. Concidering too that many armed services personnel appreciate the positive image portrayed of the characters in The Unit, CBS is further showing a lack of sensitivity towards that part of their viewing audience. Their marketing slogan "Only CBS" rings true here - but not in the way they probably planned.Read more

I want it back! Germany didnt even air the 3rd and 4th season, therefore i'm watching them in English right now and that also rocks - and i don't want to stop after the 4th season. This show is unique, there isn't any other similar show, a show about a Special Forces Command was just a brilliant idea - and it played ou...t perfectly - everything on this show is just gorgeous! Wont rock 24 of it's throne, but comes close. And that does mean something. Please, Showtime or someone - buy the rights!Read more
Christian I think CBS has lost its freakin' mind. The Unit is the best show on TV. I had almost given up on watching TV, but The Unit brought me back.

I have been waiting for the unit to return, instead I find it on an alternate channel in reruns, but hey, it's better than nothing at this point. CBS better get it together, the Unit ROCKS. Yeah it does suck that it is not back on. As a Military Member I always thought it was very factual. I have all the seasons on DVD and once the last one comes out I am sure I will have that one too. I honestly felt it was doomed when they moved it from Tuesday to Sunday. For some reaon I think they tanked it so they... can go with more "reality" shows. I would also agree that it should move to a different channel but the only thing is if they did, it might take away from the quality of the show.Read more

Let me tell you --- whoever cancelled this show has made a comprehensive failure on an EPIC level. This show was well written and well thought out, was believable with very good actors and equally good writers and directors. I watched this show from the the 1st to last episode and am thoroghly dissapointed that it has ...gone - with no explanation. I wish everyone involved will go on to bigger and better things.
