THE future of the Wales Rally GB was secured last night after the Assembly Government announced its continued sponsorship of the event.
Earlier this year the lucrative motoring event had been cast into doubt when Welsh politicians cut £2m of funding in a row over how often the event would be staged as part of the World Rally Championship.
