FUCKING A MEN TO Chris Gaul above - HD downloads might be viable a long way off, but as it stands now, bluray is the only HD option, and even when HD downloads are a viable option, prices still wont be much lower than hard media, similarly to iTunes, the price difference wont be enough to lure away die hard fans of the hard media such as (im ... Some have said Blu-ray is already obsolete and that digital downloads and rentals will soon overtake the video world as they did music. We say, not so fast.
Chris Lees

Chris Lees Anyone got a volume key for Baraka (Region B)? It uses MKB12 and there's no processing key available for that yet. I need to be able to play this disc on Linux - I just bought it today thinking it should work because it was released last year. Can anyone help me please, I don't want to throw $39 down the drain!

Christina M. Shattuck

Christina M. Shattuck Has anyone heard any news of the winner?

Wade Bluebaugh

Wade Bluebaugh Back from Heritage Days. Ate about a 1lb pulled pork sandwich for $6 and half a funnel cake. New Blu-Ray movies came from Amazon: "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" and "Taken". Looking forward to movie time, have not seen Taken yet, but it comes highly recommended.

Richard Priest

Richard Priest To Kubrick Fans and those who are curious...I just recently purchased "Eyes Wide Shut" and noticed something unusual. I know Kubrick shot the film with the intent to crop the 35mm film image to a 4:3 aspect ratio for television. In fact, I remember being confused when I first saw the film, in the movie theatre back in 1999, because it was projected in 4:3. Being a Kubrick admirer, it's no guess I own the Kubrick collection and study his films once a year. Now that I own the Blu-ray Disc, I began to make my comparisons as to how the transfer was handled and was shocked to see they CROPPED THE IMAGE! Why would someone crop a 4:3 image? To get 16:9! Confused? Yeah, me too. We grew up having our 16:9 films cropped to 4:3 because of the old television screens and now the companies are doing the opposite of the same thing!? Has anyone noticed other recently transfered Blu-ray films that have done the same horrible thing?

Sarah Magurany Beiermann

Sarah Magurany Beiermann I think that my dad deserves to win a Blu-ray player. When he married my mom, she already had 4 children from a previous marriage. Then they had my younger brother and myself. That was 32 years ago this October, and he still treats all 6 of us kids like we are his own, even though my brother and myself are his only biological children. He never once said that we were half brothers and sisters, to him, we were just brothers and sisters and we were his kids and his responsibility. My dad is a factory worker and has been all of his life. I remember some weeks growing up, we didn't get to see him because he worked so much overtime just to make sure we had a roof over our head, food on the table, clothes on our backs and toys to play with. I think it is time that he gets a toy to play with now, and not have to work overtime to try and get it. I would watch the "Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy with him...we both love those movies :)

Jason Rorie

Jason Rorie My dad deserves a Blu-ray player because he is the most awesome dad in the world and would do anything for me. It really is the least I could do. : D
