Lets be crystal clear about this. The Western Extension Zone will be removed by the end of next year. Amen.

Another stunningly inaccurate front page from the Evening Standard then!

shame on you Boris, I thought you had more spine than to give in to the Chelsea tractor lobby. More cars in central London is not the answer to anything. And the residents of Kensington and Chelsea will still vote Tory even if you don't remove the zone.
Where is the green gene you inherited from Stanley?

I definitely think you should be PM - you'd be brilliant x

Super
Just get rid of the C Zone full stop. It is a joke and really makes no difference to traveling to work in London on public transport
Busses in London are bad with drivers who speed (fact), busses that are too big for the London Roads, people on push bikes going at 2 miles an hour in the bus lane holding up a stream of busses behind.
Busses that do not stop at the bus stop cause the drivers 'can't be bothered'

what we need is less londoners in london itself.. bring in the cockney tax and kill those who don't pay it... less people=less cars=less pollution. job done

Boris something you should be aware of is that you have two big enemies in the Media - the London Evening Standard (who supported you under their previous editor!) and LBC97.3 under its controller Jonathan Edwards. I have written to your office in detail about this!

Agree with Ronal and Sally. Your media enemies will do anything they can to find scandal and put you right in it!! Even Nick Ferrari kept going on about you changing your mind. I'm going off him a bit. Makes me cringe when Ken says it will cost £70million and increased tube fares to get rid of it. Hold on!! Its suppose to be about congestion, not a TAX. Beware Labour lying SCUM.

I thought it was you who Clinton wrote about in his memoirs..I only heard Boris. I thought it was quite fun of you to be drunk , in your pants looking for a pizza outside the White House!!!

First time I ever bothered to vote in my life...based on the fact that the Congestion charge was going to be banned by around now...makes me wonder yet again what the point is in voting... Costs me £2,000 (and then also the fines on top!!) to take my boys safely to school...?? Congestion Charge...I have no option but to pay....it has me by the short and curlies (well, if I had any!)...

I don't know all the details about how successful the western extension has/hasn't been on reducing congestion, but I'm disappointed the re-commitment isn't being combined with alternative plans to reduce congestion in west London. I live in central London with the eastern zone and I have a feeling the decision is more political than sensible and

strongly believe that something needs to be done about congestion in the city. That’s what I’d like our Mayor to focus on, not vote winning and lining himself up for the next election or a career in number 10!

Amen, brother -- whatever Extension might be. Like Manifest Destiny, maybe?

I think you should be PM Mr Johnson, and you'd be much better than all the available options today... :P you'd have my vote that is for sure :)

A large number of people who support Boris are illiterate, judging by their spelling, so their opinions mean nothing. Don't get upset just read a book or two.

John Howard
Ned, do not assume that because they are deficient in the use of grammar their opinions are inherently null. Also, you missed a comma. Faggot.
