Isn't it sickening how much money the Gov' has nicked from the hard working peoples of this country, and to top it off, they decline life extending drugs to the needy. It makes me sick to my stomach. Where are all the good, honest men gone?????? They should be ashamed of themselves. And no, there are no excuses!!!

I can't agree with you here, Penny. The demands on any health service are inexhaustible and the supply of money is not, so there will always be a need to consider how to allocate resources. If people see tax as money stolen from them, then that only makes matters worse - try to think of it as an investment in your future and in all our futures. How would you like to see the NHS funded - on the US model, where only the well-off have any security at all?

Hello everyone,
I wanted to post the above link on here - it is about the blatant sex discrimination of Race for Life...
The current situation is that I am awaiting a phone call from CRUK to, hopefully, confirm details of some '5K FAMILY FUND RAISING EVENTS' being launched next y...ear to overcome the blatant sex discrimination of Race for Life.
By working together, we'll beat Cancer together.
Best wishes to one and all

Great news... but no thanks to my local MP who said he wouldn't support your Out of Sight campaign... lots of drivel about illegal tobacco products and local shops suffering!
