Jayson Lowery If the government wants to look after disabled people in a democratic civilised society then they have to PAY the people that are doing it for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jayson Lowery Sorry if didnt answer requests. Been a carer so many yrs i become socially retarded. When this happens just continue in your routine. Try and vary activities a little to hold on to routine and sanity(keep shops in a hat to vary routine) Like someone holding on a ledge, keep going, and get friends to help you out for ho...lidays etc, Happy New Year. Praise all carers and thank Gordon Brown, we love you ministerx

Alex Sharpe Is sorry for not wishing everyone a Happy New Year as this is the time of year I should be enjoying with my family...instead im on DEFCON ONE. As this is the time of the year when the great and the good and the upstanding members of the Village of Blennerhasset get together and get drunk and eggon the younger MEN to sm...ash my parents home up ...because they are both very ill and unable to defend themselves against these people...and the Police are as about as useful as a chocolate firegard....mind you they will all be drafted into Workington because most of the pubs in Cockermouth have been shut down by floods....they get protection against looters...yet from 12years me and my parents have enjured this HELL!!!

I wish Alex. I'm so busy caring just now that the revolution is on hold unless I can find others with some time and energy left in the new year to help share the load.
Fingers crossed we can get going on it again soon. xx

Hi Angel,

Have you tried the emergency social work team? You should be able to get their number from the phone book. There are also some emergency carer schemes, but not in every area and each scheme has different rules but worth a try. You can find out if there is one in your area here. http://www.carersuk.org/Information/Findinghelp/EmergencySchemesList
