Carers UK Carers UK's Poverty Charter now has backing from The Daily Mirror, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Oxfam, the Alzheimers Society, USDAW, Macmillan Cancer, Citizens Advice and fifteen other major national charities. Also been signed by 3,000 members of the public, over 200 local carers centres and groups and a supporting ...parliamentary motion put down by Paul Burstow MP has attracted the support of 66 MPs.

Yes but that means nothing at all to them, they are too busy deciding how much of a pay rise they want to vote for themselves, to be interested in the billions that carers save them every year.

my partner is an un payed careir the litle bit of money he claims frm social 4 me is taken out of his cuz i get severe disablement money = noone has explained any thing 2 us we scrimp and save 4 the heating and electric bills y r we not explained wot we r entitled 2 its unfare on us all especially carers

I do hope at least something will change for the better for all of you dedicated carers. I still won't get any finiancil help as my husband had to stop work suddenly six years ago and he is younger than me so because I am a pensioner I don't get carers allowance. My state pension is just 55p a week!!! My husband who I care for isn't pension age yet.
