Christian Aid HAVE YOUR SAY -- Roger Helmer MEP has hit out at the church for abandoning the gospel in favour of a 'religion of climate alarmism'. Do you agree - or do you think there's a moral imperative to tackle global warming?

Roger Helmer says Anglican hierarchy has dropped the gospel in favour of 'the new religion of climate alarmism'

Seems Roger Helmer MEP is sceptical about rather a lot of things, which I suppose is to be expected. His theology of let's leave everything to God to sort out though is thoroughly naive. The Bible probably has more to say on the issue of good stewardship than almost any other subject. So... hardly an issue of Churches abandoning religious faith.

... See MoreThe science is unarguable - climate change is happening now. The question of our response is not a moral issue, and nor should it be one that is left to faith and environment groups. Everyone has a duty to act.
