Dave, where are the references to any of what Alex Jones said, so that we can check this out for ourselves. Lots of talking going on, but little in evidence. I would like a look at the email that points to the conspiracy. It would be great if it were true, but before I risk the biosphere, I'd like some proof.

Can you people please focus your passion and energy on the truth, even if it conflicts with what you strongly believe and have spent much of your free time on. You may not like it but it's the right thing to do. Don't go along with something just because it fits your beliefs or repuatation. Go along with the truth. Humans are not responsible for ... See Moreclimate change, it is a natural phenomena and the main factor is the sun. The planet has even been cooling for the last decade. Carbon dioxide is a basic element of life, we exhale it, plants inhale it. The head of Greenpeace has been forced to admit the ice caps shrink in summer and then grow back in winter. Hackers have recently blown the whole thing wide open by obtaining emails and documents that prove data has been fabricated and exaggerated to support the theory that humans are responsible. The whole thing is a scam and a fraud to raise taxes, introduce new ones, introduce new laws, ban certain technologies, restrict our lifestyles and population growth, introduce a world government through the Copenhagen treaty and ultimately gain control over even more aspects of our lives. It's the same with almost everything, major problems whether real or staged are always exploited by governments and the people at the very top of society to make us do as we're told and to justify things they wouldn't be able to do under normal circumstances. If our governments are so concerned about human pollution then instead of introducing new laws and taxes which wont help much anyway, why don't they develop 'clean' technologies that will stop the need for oil and coal, and stop the need for current technologies that produce pollution. The technologies exist and should be developed but it doesn't happen because the big corporations won't make their profits and will lose money. They buy out and overwhelm the smaller businesses that try to develop these technologies. Money is what makes this world go round. Money, power and control is all the people at the top are bothered about, not the livelihood of the people...

Even if the world is doing it's normal cycle then that's even MORE reason for you to get cracking with producing what you need locally (and even sheltered grow areas, small scale wind systems etc)......For those of us who don't eat snow and ice then the Gulf Stream grinding to a halt should be our biggest waking nightmare EVERYDAY, cos that's what ... See Morethe melting ice caps are doing - with or without our help. The melting freshwater that's mixing with the salty ocean water is decreasing the speed and pressure of the natural pump that is - The Gulf Stream - that is responsible for.....OUR temperate climate (ie stopping it from freezing over ironically)......... who has time to be bored in these, the most interesting and perilous of times!!! Good luck to us all say I! ;-)

Copenhagen is not merely a Seattle do-over. It feels, instead, as though the progressive tectonic plates are shifting, creating a movement that builds on the strengths of an earlier era but also learns from its mistakes.
