Hello, my name is Cynikal.
I'm a 22 year old Hip Hop artist and record producer from London, England.
Been on the circuit for over 8 years: winning a lot of battles, doing a lot of shows and featuring on a lot of radio stations.
My debut video 'Things Change' made some noise in 2008 after being on the main Channel AKA playlist for 6 months, with the video also going on to reach Top 10 UK artist status on TMF in the Netherlands.
For those who don't know, I roll with a live Hip Hop band: The Street Orchestra. We're trying to bring a live flavour to the rap genre, with influences drawn from Neo-Soul and Jazz.
Recently, I've supported US rap artist The Game on his UK Tour, played at The Turning Point Festival and worked in co-operation with EMI records. Summer 2009 also saw me appear as an emcee on Dubplate Drama's "Spit It Out" campaign, which allowed me grace MTV Base and Channel 4 respectively.
Right now, I'm putting things in place for my next single/video: 'Trust Me'. The track was produced by myself and features the singer Seyi. There'll be a lot of behind the scenes footage up shortly..
