Hi to you all :) I have recently started at a new company and they started off by asking me to leave the room to inject then suggested the toilet....now they have said they want to 'agree places suitable' for me to test and inject, and at what times!! Is this legal? I have never had a problem with injecting or testi......ng and now feel that this will make me feel like I am a problem!! There is no grounds for this and I always carry a BD Safe clip should I need to change needles etc so Im always safe around others....has anyone any thoughts and/or been through this kind of treatment before? Thank you for all you help MelxRead MoreRead more

Sarah

Sarah Hi all! It's my diabetic birthday today - i have been type 1 for 31 years!! Any other old timers out there? I'm having the swine flu jab in a few days - has anyone had a high sugar reaction to it? No one else in my family is diabetic and nor are any of any friends, so feel free to add me for a chat, it would be great to have some diabetic friends!!

Hi all my hubby has just recently been diagnosed with type 1 and is having problems which his doc cant seem to find a reason for. I was wondering if anyone had the same symptoms they are: very sore tummy, legs and generally all over ( there are no keytones so we know it's not that) he just feels like crap all the time... no matter what his sugar levels are. is this just how it goes with diabetes or could there be something that the doctor has missed on several occasions since it has been going on for the last 3/4 weeks.

Thanks for any help or advice
