Forget the January blues, THURSDAY 29th JANUARY welcomes the return of our free DJMAG & FRIENDS sessions to THE STAR OF BETHNAL GREEN with SKREAM and SERGE SANTIAGO.
Just like your favourite house party, DJmag & Friends strips things back to basics and lets the DJs spin those left-of-centre sets they love to play but rarely get the chance to. At this month’s party, dubstep originator Skream gets on the glitterball groove with one of his now legendary disco sets whilst We Love... Ibiza resident Serge digs through his crates for an epic Italo journey.
With Skream responsible for some of the dubstep scene’s biggest smashes (‘Midnight Request Line’, ‘If You Know’, ‘Fick’) and Acrobaleno boss Santiago riding high on the recent re-release of both his classic Italo edit ‘Atto D’Amore’ and current re-edit of Goblin's 'Tenebre' (forthcoming on Acrobaleno), neither should require much introduction and tonight you get to hear them at their most eclectic, in intimate, unpretentious surroundings and for absolutely no door tax whatsoever.
DJmag’s very own Claire Hughes will be warming up from 9pm with a set of eclectic gems and Balearic bliss. We look forward to seeing you down there.
