Description

The world is in economic meltdown, and leaders are meeting at the crucial G20 London Summit next week to decide what to do. It's time to tell them they can't continue with business as usual -- they have to fix the system and build a more sustainable future.

On Saturday, Avaaz members in the UK will join tens of thousands of marchers taking to the streets of central London to demand the G20 "Put People First".

For the majority of us who cannot get to London let’s show our support online, by attending this virtual march and signing the petition, below, urging the G20 to tackle the economic and climate crises. Our worldwide call will be carried to the streets by tens of thousands of people marching through central London, wearing green hard hats and carrying banners to symbolise green jobs and a sustainable recovery. Wherever you are, you can participate via your computer by adding your details below:

**For friends in London, this Saturday from 11am until Noon, our assembly point will be toward the south end of Arundel Street, between the Strand and Victoria Embankment. There will be an Avaaz banner there, so you should be able to spot us!**
