Anna

Anna Where can I get a refill for the GTD Coordinator, including a calendar for 2010? On the website or in Staples, i only see the brand new coordinators, no refills. Help me be green and not waste a whole new binder!

This community contribution comes from Tara who uses GTD to care for her ill mother.  It’s a wonderful story from someone who–already naturally organized and productive–found ways to improve on her systems to provide the best care she could for her mother.Dear David,I’m pr...
Mike

Mike I work with a number of partnerships where there are not only delegated tasks for individuals, but topics and items for the group. In my Integrated Management System (IMS), within the 1:1 categories along with individuals and direct reports, can you also have a partnership group in the 1:1s too? I know each IMS is tail...ored to the individual, but I wondered if anyone has done the above and found success with it.

Thanks - Mike.

Some of the most common questions we get are about managing projects.  Here is how one of the Coaches replied when a new GTD’er was asking how to manage projects and all of the related steps. There are 3 components to consider with your projects:1. Tracking the outcome on a Projects list(s) ...

Personal relationships are among my GTD Areas of Focus and Responsibility. I maintain a list of all persons with whom I have friendly relations. I informally call it my “friends list” even though I think it would be too presumptuous to call all of these people friends:  There are well...

Thanks for all of your comments. This article was a community contribution from an GTD fan. What Chip described was a way that personally works for him. We wanted to pass it along, not as an official "GTD model or suggestion" but as something that someone found value in doing. Cheers.

A longtime stalwart of David Allen’s personal GTD setup is his Tickler File System.  This 43-folder system is like having your own post office to mail things back for your attention and awareness–exactly when you need to see them again.“The Tickler File demands only one-second-p...

William Wardlaw Rogers

William Wardlaw Rogers Attended London seminar. Taken me full wk holiday + 2 month operational to get to comprehensive capture. Now got project list set up + sifting by horizon. Also working on gmail whitepaper - BUT feel like I've misunderstood r.e @contexts/Project/Horizons. --- Do I link my mindsweep prompts into groups by project first o...r by context? And when do I sift them into horizons as my natural process of prioritising isn't by time but by what actions will deliver resources that will free up time/give me new assets...

It seems I'm having to enter things twice and its not helping getting to the point where I feel comfortable doing a review. Should I hit myself in the head with a plank?

It certainly has been a while since I’ve written anything for GTD Times, so long that one might think I’d fallen off the wagon.  Not true – somewhat.  It’s not as if I’d fallen and couldn’t get up – it was that I was buried and couldn’t dig out.Like most of you, I have a lot going on....
