Welcome back, Dawgs. Hope everyone is ready for a new season. We have a lot of work ahead of us from training to fundraising if we want to achieve our goal of getting to play on the national level. Hope everyone is ready to work hard and to have fun. We are planning on a team get-together sometime soon. We'll keep everyone updated on the when and where when we figure it out.

It's been a great season, everyone! I hope everyone had a good time this year, and although we came up a little short for making it to Nationals this year, that won't stop us from making sure we get everything together for next year. Next year's NIRSA College Club Nationals has been announced and it's going to be held in DALLAS, TEXAS! I've never been there before, so it'll be something to look forward to. We'll be having a meeting at one point or another to discuss next year, so I'll keep everyone posted. Good luck to everyone on finals, and see you during the summer or early next fall.

Congratulations are in order again for a job well done today. I am very proud of the way everyone played today. We were seeded in one of the lowest spots, in the hardest pool, and a 3 team pool on top of that. Although we weren’t able to beat Whitaker Painting (they ended up beating Island Style in the finals), we beat Madman…again. We ended up getting ranked 6th in the tournament and had Wazzu in the first round. Wazzu’s match was a little closer than we wanted, but we ended up winning in 2. We then had to play Fierce Creatures… we played well, but came up a little short in the end.
Although we were seeded very low at the beginning of the tournament today, they’ll have to think twice about our team when they set up the upcoming USAV Tournaments.
Luca – Best wishes, and have a safe flight home. You have helped our team a great deal this quarter and you will be missed. Hopefully we will see you next fall, so do well on your upcoming tests.

Congratulations, again, goes out to both teams for a weekend of extremely well played volleyball. Taking 1st and 2nd in a tournament is a very impressive accomplishment, and I am very proud of everyone and their hard work and effort put into winning against GU and Whitworth. Team 2 won pool play beating both Team 1 and Gonzaga University in split matches by points; taking the 1st seed for bracket play. Team 1 was able to dig deep and come out victorious against a strong Gonzaga University team in the playoff round and was able to beat Team 2 in the finals. Again, great job this weekend guys. Keep working hard; PIVA and NIRSA watch out, here we come.

Congratulations goes out to both teams volleyball well played at the October 19th friendship tournament. One team took 3rd in the Silver Bracket after taking a hard and well fought game from Brown's extremely strong team while the other team managed to win their pool, but lost in the opening round of the Gold Bracket also to Brown's Team. Great work guys, keep up the hard work and we will go far this season.
