Big conversations & small talk

Rupa Chaturvedi Noronha

Rupa Chaturvedi Noronha Same values: family time, great conversations and food mostly grown in our backyard. I think we will value fresh and organic food more than ever in years to come.

Nancy Bolling Hernandez

Nancy Bolling Hernandez In twenty years, my oldest son will probably have a family of his own. I imagine him sitting around the table with his children and asking them how their day was. But dinnertime will be different for every child, just as it is now. The questions is: how many children will be doing without dinner because of an overpopulated planet?

Sam Crespi

Sam Crespi I still wonder what kind of protective 'enironment' we will be growing edible plants in...because if we're even half way to 6 degrees celsius growing anything will be a challenge... perhaps we will all be wearing the suits from Herbert's 'Dune' that recycle our body water.. or maybe if there are still cloud formations we'll be seeding them for rainwater..

Mujtaba Hassan

Mujtaba Hassan what is terrorism? what about suicide bombing?

Mujtaba Hassan

Mujtaba Hassan new "h2 Home"! Generating water at home from the atmosphare, is it environmently friendly? what about ecological balance? what about the abstraction of the water in the air? will it not cause any damage to the rain-fall?

Julian John Goss

Julian John Goss more about the family than the dinner, more about the moments than the meatballs

Laura Brandmeier

Laura Brandmeier When the one constant is 'change,' families will be looking for ways to keep their contact consistent. As families grow & change, evolving from after-school activities to time in all corners of the globe, family memembers will be looking for ways to leverage their digital tools to be & share with one another - in an attempt at keeping sacred the shared family dinnertime.

Senthil Kumar

Senthil Kumar Will be the same whatever it is today, certain things dont/wont change.,

David Oduki

David Oduki Depending on where you are - it could still be an empty plate :-( for some

it is either going to be distributed to family members through automated inter-city food-tunnels from central restaurants right to the kitchen (optional: there might be intra-tunnels linking house rooms together.. additional fees apply lol) or an internet food provider (IFP) that is linked to the oven (wifi or etherne...t cable) that sends directions on how to cook certain meal (but u gotta put the stuff in there first) :PRead more

Trevor Swope

Trevor Swope I love all of the positive thinking on this page and I suppose for the most part I agree that it is only really feasable to feed ourselves by returning to local organics. I wonder though, how much of the world will be able to feed themselves? What will be the state of starvation in 30 years?

Pat Gamble

Pat Gamble pizza with distracted kids and overly concerned, but distracted parents.

John

John are we talking about what it will be... or what we want it to be? will the "family" as we know it even exist?
