i met yd through azrul of 807 studio. i remembered the first thing he said when we were introduced was... - "oh, you are potatoe in flickr !" i was like uhmmm (eyerr, fan boi)
we worked together, assisting azrul in one of harper baazar's editorial back in july 09 and a few other sets in between. he is, to me, the most disciplined crew i ever met till present.
yd covered and shot the behind the scene photos for the recent honda accord campaign (i was assisting azrul for his set and yes yd, you made my butt look huge).
for this very last minute set, i asked yd to do me a favour to help out. i needed experience crew on set because we have limited time. turned out he had a bad case stomache. so i passed him my camera and told him, "ok, you rest abit and try shoot some behind the scene. damien will assist"
turned out, his behind the scene shots of this set, imoho, is better than my actual shots (to me). ha ha. freaking well done!
