Happy Sunday all my MS family. Today has been a good day so far. I am on the Board of Directors for Real Life Crisis Preganancy center here in my hometown. We hold a program once a years to promote abstinance amoung our youth . I am the Evangalism Coordinator for this progrom. I ask that you pray for these things for m...e today:
1 That GOD is in the house tonight in a way that all will know he is in charge of it all.
2. That the Lord will work in mighty ways tonight.
3. Pray for each youth that will come through the doors that are unsaved that they will leave with Jesus as the LORD of their lives.
4.Strenghth for me to hold up until around 10:00 pm tonight.

Thanks in advance for all the prayers I know will be lifted. To GOD be all the Glory from this event.

Melissa Connelly Searles

Melissa Connelly Searles I have a question for anybody. How do you get through those days when you say why me, what did I do. I want to get rid of this feeling of pity. I've had MS for 10 years and still having a problem accepting it.

Lori Cukurov Dowd Last night at a church function, (mind you they serve alcohol at my church functions), I was walking to the car and stumbling. This man walking past me was laughing. He thought I was drunk. I said, I'm not drunk, I just can't walk good. LOL! That didn't help, I just looked like I was in denial of being drunk! My husband said, good one Lori! Hahahaha! What to do!?! Hahaha!

I was dx with MS over 5 years ago....i have always been confused if i want to tell people outside of my close family and friends. I have always been afraid that people would judge me or look at me different. I do tell my supervisor but no one else. Is that weird? Sometimes i wonder why would i be embarassed about havi...ng MS? I am doing great minus the fatigue( which is terrible) and a few sensation changes per year; but other than that i am a normal 28 year old with a husband that is great and two kids.... Read more

My daughter has MS and is fully contracted. In otherwords ina fetal position. She can sit up eat and talk but must be bathed, changed and put in her wheelchair. She is in a lot of pain. Is there any in home counseling for families? She has 2 children that are really acting out. The 16 yr old has given up on himself and... the 12 yr old is getting into trouble. They are both afraid of loosing their mom plus the fact she has not accepted the fact that she has MS and she was diagnosed 16yrs ago. If anyone knows of any help out here that medicaid will pay for please let me know.Read more

Lori Cukurov Dowd Betaseron was much easier to use than Copaxone. Now I take a shot every night and have to use heat first then ice it. I get welts and then a knott under my skin that I have to massage out. OUCH!
