Last night Vale Festival were honored with a commendation in the field of Best Event at the Guild Awards. This is the second year running that Vale Festival has been recognised at the awards after it won the category last year.

Massive congratulations to Hindu Soicety who won the Best Event this year, it's great to see such diverse performing arts being rewarded. Big thanks to everyone who was involved in Vale Festival last year, Guild and University staff, charities and sponsors, and to everyone who came along and make the event what it is.

This year's event will be better than ever. June 10th, mark it in your diary under 'Birmingham's the biggest and best summer event'.
