08BESJTU Little Red Riding Hood is a rather short fairy tale, so I think we won't split it up in acts. Instead, we'll have several versions/performances and then vote for the best performance. Yesterday I already bought the prize for the best performance!

I'm really happy that we all had so much fun enacting Snow White last week!
For this week's play I chose "Sleeping Beauty", and some classmates volunteered to prepare "The Ugly Duckling" - Thanks a lot! And we'll have some presentations - but you're still welcome to prepare presentations/talks for our class.
Just like ...last week, I won't provide a script for "Sleeping beauty".
There'll be a change to the previous 2 classes: we won't have a ppt - most of the material needed for class is on the hand out anyway. And we'll focus more on the script of Shrek: We'll read it together, that is, I have some of you reading passages from the script.
Looking forward to meeting you all again!Read more

In the first hour, we'll start with a listening exercise which prepares you for the exam. We will also address some pronunciation problems typical for native speakers of Chinese. Becky will wrap up last week's pronunciation points for us. Thank you, Becky!
I will provide some cultural notes related to Shrek. Nicole wi...ll give us brief summary of what happened in Shrek so far to refresh our memory. Thank you, Nicole! We'll continue reading the transcript and watching Shrek, and then we'll enact Snow White. Lemon will present a brief summary of Snow White which helps to create the script . Thank you, Lemon!
This week, we'll create the script ourselves. Those of you who already think of playing a certain part can exchange their ideas on the message board! Read more

Since I know how exhausted most of you on a Saturday night are after busy week, I decided that we all can practice our English skills by watching Shrek and ... performing a little play based on fairy tales mentioned in Shrek. This week it's going to be Cinderella, and I'll provide the script. I think it's a nice idea ...to practice interaction in English - please leave your comments and suggestion on our wall!Read more
