As leaders of tomorrow, AIESECers have always taken up development issues that are relevant in the society. The issue of child rights is one of the very important issues that is of paramount importance for future of India. Children have been abused and exploited in every state of India. They suffer from hunger and home...lessness; work in harmful conditions, high Infant mortality and deficient health care and limited opportunities for basic education.
Project CREATIONS takes the responsibility of creating a hand of help for all those Children who are in need, who lack resources, and who have zeal to do something in their life but are refrained because of various financial and infrastructural problems. CREATION is A Project Based on the life and Challenges faced by:
Under privileged children, Special Children, Rural Children, School Children
they have done research work for 1 month on various different children. After interaction with the children the EPs have selected 25- 30 children from different NGOs and prepared the Case Studies on them .their research covers the following areas:
1. Living conditions.
2. Parental status.
3. Their general thinking pattern.
4. General reacting tendency towards things.
5. Areas of interest
6. Likes and dislikes
7. What he\she wants to do in his\her life?
8. Previous tragedies if any.
9. Health status of child and its family.
Case studies covered above mentioned areas and were showcased in the exhibition “CREATION” which
was organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra so that people can just look around those case studies and can help the children if they wish to. Further these case studies would be taken to big Corporate houses and big schools so that they can be sensitized to help those children by giving fund or admitting them in their respective schools or just taking responsibility for their Education.Read more
