General public entries for next year's Bath Half are now nearly full, with just a handful of places still remaining. So if you want to run as an independent runner in 2009, don't delay - enter today!
Reserved places are still available for business teams in the corporate challenge, through the official race charities, elite and best for age athletes.

Bath Half Marathon 2009
The Bath Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. It is also one of the largest charity fundraisers in the South West, raising over £1.2 million for charity last year alone. The course itself is fast and flat making it suitable for all abilities – for beginner...s whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long-distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time. It covers a two lap 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course straddling both sides of the River Avon. The race starts and finishes in Great Pulteney Street, in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath.

The half marathon starts at 11.00am (wheelchair start at 10.55am), and the fun run at 11.20am Sunday 15th March 2009
Course Description
The Bath Half is a fast flat course, straddling both sides of the river Avon and avoiding all the hills surrounding the City. It is an 'honest' two-lap course with proven PB criteria, entirely traffic & parking free. Even at the front end you'll have plenty of company to pull you round for a good time
