What a funny Brooker. Here's a game: Can anybody tell me what the piece of music is that accompanies most of the Tim Key bits? I have been previously informed that it's from the (new) Battlestar Galactica soundtrack and The Fountain soundtrack, by different sources. But it turns out that these sources are unreliable a...nd their information profoundly erroneous. It's the dark, melencholy, string piece. Any takers?Read more

Simon Taft bring back screenwip AND newswipe. game show was ok, but miss the genius bile of these two shows!

Richard He done falling in da water USA — I didn't think the concept could get any worse?

John Barley Come on Charlie "You've been watching" is... ok... but why not stick to what we love you for? The TVChat people agree too if that counts!

Oliver Bring back Newswipe

Truly brilliant programme, hope it returns soon.
I'm hoping there is someone who reads this page, knows his or her classical music and has the episodes to hand - there's a mass played during Nick Davis' segment on the Press media's use of 'the Dark Arts' (21 mins) that has been stuck in my head for a couple of years now...; when I've attempted to describe it to anyone (the Classic FM receptionist, the spotty malcontent in the Classical department of HMV, etc.), I've been told I've either dreamt / imagined it or to go away (I didn't know my whistling was that shit, frankly). So imagine my delight on a recent re-watch that it triggered that this was the piece I'd been looking for, for so long.
Still don't know what it is, mind. Any ideas?Read more

Jennifer Dale Holroyd-Doveton I LOVE NEWSWIPE I HOPE IT COMES BACK SOON. LIFE IS INCOMPLETE WITHOUT IT. :'(

Raifʻhār Does anyone know what the music is that plays during the pleas of the forensic psychiatrist near the end of the first episode?

Sarah I'm only here for 10 days, trying to soak up as much of this as possible. Bring Newswipe to the US (and QI along with it!)!!

Llewelyn Moss Easily as funny as The Day Today and Brasseye. He really lets loose in the pilot episode with some dark paedophilic humour
