Gaz Farnell

Gaz Farnell What a funny Brooker. Here's a game: Can anybody tell me what the piece of music is that accompanies most of the Tim Key bits? I have been previously informed that it's from the (new) Battlestar Galactica soundtrack and The Fountain soundtrack, by different sources. But it turns out that these sources are unreliable a...nd their information profoundly erroneous. It's the dark, melencholy, string piece. Any takers?

Leonard Sultana

Leonard Sultana Truly brilliant programme, hope it returns soon.

I'm hoping there is someone who reads this page, knows his or her classical music and has the episodes to hand - there's a mass played during Nick Davis' segment on the Press media's use of 'the Dark Arts' (21 mins) that has been stuck in my head for a couple of years now...; when I've attempted to describe it to anyone (the Classic FM receptionist, the spotty malcontent in the Classical department of HMV, etc.), I've been told I've either dreamt / imagined it or to go away (I didn't know my whistling was that shit, frankly). So imagine my delight on a recent re-watch that it triggered that this was the piece I'd been looking for, for so long.

Still don't know what it is, mind. Any ideas?
