The Funhouse Robots are a HYPER ENTERTAINING ROCK N ROLL GLAM PUNK band. They can perform to suit any crowd, from playing their own original songs to 70s glam rock and punk classic covers, along with several truly unique and disturbingly inspirational covers. The Funhouse Robots play short (most of the time), catchy ro...ck n roll punk songs, about a world of sci-fi glam. Any deep meaning to their lyrics is entirely accidental. Their secret is not to ruin a good song by trampling it to death with their egos. Performances are exhausting for the band, but exhilarating for the audience! Well, worth going to see at the least. Their biggest accolade is being the band that other bands want to be (so they tell them)!

We've been away for a while but now we are back. The reunion gig went better than we could have imagined. We are now working on adding another dozen or so new covers into the set and maybe some new originals and maybe some old originals that haven't been played live, we'll see ...how it goes. White Rose are a four piece band based in Burntwood in the Midlands.
We came into exsistance in early 2008 and have since enjoyed playing many great gigs at venues such as The Tackeroo, The LA Rock, The White Hart, The Lamb and Flag, The Cottage of Content, The Swan Inn, The Flagging Duck, The Uxbridge and most importan...tly the Burntwood Wakes Unsigned Festival 09.
We play covers by many of our influenceses such as AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Dio, Guns N Roses, Judas Priest, Metallica, Nickelback, Ozzy Osbourne, Skid Row, Queen, T Rex and Velvet Revolver. As well as our own songs which are inspired by all our influences.
Our own song list consists of Obsessed, All I Need, Mind Ride, Kill Em All, For Your Own Damn Good, What Youve Lost, Maybe and Nothing Lasts Forever.
Obsessed was the first song we wrote which was the singers way of being ironic about booze.
All I Need is basically a dedication to Rock N Roll as its all everyone of us need in our lives.
Kill 'em All (Let God Sort 'em Out) was inspired by the classic phrase "kill 'em all let god sort em out" which the singer saw on a bandana which influenced him to write a song about bikers life styles.
For Your Own Damn Good was written by the bassist about his nans reluctance to take her medication which he would insist to her was for her own damn good.
Mind Ride is the singers recollection of his inspirational activities.
What You've Lost was written by the bassist and is another account of a difficult time in his life.
Maybe is a cover of a Turbulance song which was written by the drummers step father while he was in Turbulance back in 1998 .
Nothing Lasts Forever is basically about a typical night on the town where all you want to do is have a good night out that never ends.

Rubicon are a classic rock band based in the West Midlands. We play classic rock from the 60's onwards ranging from the Kinks to Motorhead depending on the venue. We play this music because we love it and it's always played with passion. We are not "Rock Stars" and never overcharge (it's all about the music) We have wo...rked hard and secured many gigs.
When Walsall based band "Spitroast" disbanded back in 2006, founder members Pete and Mick were left contemplating what to do next. They were both passionate about the music that they play, and were left wandering if they could give it just one more go, and try and find like minded musicians who wanted to play for the right reasons...... They both knew that they had to search for people to join them who were as committed as they were. So they both decided that they would go for it !!! and not stop until they have found the right people to join them. They both knew that if they were unable to do it this time that they would call it a day.
Before they even went out looking for others to join them they had decided on a name for the band...... RUBICON.....as they knew that once they had started on this journey that there would be no going back....After a lot of searching and more line up changes than Spinal Tap, Pete and Mick finally found their pot of gold in the form of Eddie and Austen..... after the first jam together it was obvious that this was the line up that they had been waiting for. Both Austen and Eddie have as much drive and determination as Pete and Mick and play every gig with gusto and passion. Their musical ability is matched by their humour and all four band members gel on stage and really enjoy themselves. This noticed by everyone, and people think that they have been together for years when they see how well they perform at each gig.............
