Chicago Picasso Join Bonnie Hunt and Mayor Daley for the annual Daley Plaza tree lighting ceremony this evening! Festivities begin at 4pm and the great tree will be lit at 4:30pm. This year's tree, a 60-foot Blue Spruce donated by the Weivoda family of Palos Heights, IL, will be adorned with 7,000 lights, and marks the first time the ...City has ever used one single tree for this beloved holiday tradition. http://bit.ly/uuu5C

Chicago Picasso Many Loop visitors, residents and office workers make Thursday's Daley Plaza farmers market a weekly summer tradition. With market season coming to a close on October 15, there are only four Thursdays left to stock up on artisanal breads and baked goods, fresh produce and many other local goodies!
