- Download returns to Donington Park from 11th – 13th June 2010, following on from our biggest Download ever in 2009.
Next year’s event will be something special as 2010 marks the 30th anniversary of Donington Park’s heritage with rock. From the infamous and legendary “Monsters of Rock” festival, which began in 1980; to more recently the epic Download Festival – the site has played host to some of the world’s greatest rock performances of all time.

Sad news: rock legend Ronnie James Dio has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. “After he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best” say his management.
Here at Download HQ our thoughts are with Ronnie and his family. Get well soon Dio – we can’t wait... to see you back on top very soon.
