Dressage Canada FEI Junior rider Maura O’Sullivan of Toronto, ON, has been named the
Dressage Canada Red Scarf Equestrian Athlete of the Month for
September. O’Sullivan, 17, was a member of the Ontario Junior Dressage
gold medal winning team at the 2009 Adequan FEI North American Junior
& Young Riders’ Championships, held July 21-26 at the Kentucky
Horse Park in Lexington, KY. Congratulations Maura!!

Jacqueline Brooks won the Grand Prix class at the prestigious Dressage
at Devon CDI-W Friday September 25th held in Devon, Pennsylvania.
Riding Balmoral, a 10-year-old Canadian bred Hanoverian gelding owned
by Brinc Ltd, Nick & Jean Vinios and Anne Welch, Brooks rode to a
score of 66.936%. Denielle Gallagher & Abrikos fini...shed 4th with
64.979% while Evi Strasser & Action Tyme finished 7th with

If you thought the Grand Prix was impressive, wait til you see this. The weather was a bit rubbish, but it didn't seem to dampen the spring in this horse's step! You gotta be impressed by all the extented movements into collecteds. Wowee!

Dressage Canada CDI5* EXQUIS World Masters Results from Hickstead, UK: Ashley Holzer placed 5th with a 77.200% in the Freestyle; Evi Strasser and Quantum Tyme were 10th in the Grand Prix Special with 64.677%. Evi also rode her young horse Action Tyme in the CDI3* which was held concurrently at Hickstead. Full results at www.dressageathickstead.com.

Dressage Canada NAJYRC wrapped up today with great results for Canada. Megan Lane won the Silver Medal in the JR Freestyle, adding to her Bronze from yesterday's Individual Test.
