Festival of World Cultures Don't Miss:HIP-NOS, Ireland's unique hip-hop and sean-nos event with rap breakdancing and spoken word. Hip-hop acts from New York and South Africa will take the stage with some of Ireland's own sean-nos singers and dancers. Experience authentic street cultures from afar as they blend with old Irish traditional music to... create a visual and musical treat right in front of your eyes with Special Guest: Des Bishop. Anyone with a love of music and dance CANNOT miss this one off event.Presented by axis, HIP-NOS runs in Vicar St. for one night only, Tuesday 20th Oct at 8pm. Afterwards, we headed over to the Royal Marine Hotel, where it seemed that all of the festival’s 250,000 visitors had crammed in to see Hotel Kiev – a sound and light-projection extravaganza by Ukrainian group DakhaBrakha, with visuals by local artist Ciaran McClelland.
