Equity Big thank you to the 200+ members who came to the Manifesto for Theatre meeting in the Actors' Church in London on Monday!

Equity

Equity Key Note Speaker: Sam West, Equity Council

Equity is going back to basics to ask why subsidised theatre is important and what it should be delivering in a modern society.

Recent negotiations have demonstrated a significant gap bewteen the expectations of employers (TMA/ITC) and Equity members.

Equity is holiding open meet...ings and workplace discussions across the country to build a 'Manifesto for Theatre'; a coherent and coordinated response that represents members across the whole country.

Look out for meetings in your workplace and open meetings in the region.
We want to hear from as many members as possible!

Monday 234d November - The Actors Church - 1.30pm
(St. Paul's Church, Bedford Street, Covent Garden, London)

A full list of nationwide dates is available on Equity's website at www.equity.org.uk.

Feedback from the nationwide meetings will be taken to a special conference in Spring 2010. Places will be limited, so if you are interested please get in touch.

For information on the campaign, meetings and conference, or to get involved please contact Hannah Packham at hpackham@equity.org.uk or call 020 7670 0238.
