Using the suitcase as a stimulus, students from four secondary schools across Coventry worked alongside teachers, professional artists and Holocaust Survivors to create ‘The Chain’ each link a performance, exhibition or piece of visual art which responds to the theme ‘Stand Up To Hatred’.
The project enabled schools to... develop their cross-curricular and creative learning skills, helped students discover the chain of events which lead to the Holocaust, and encouraged them to examine the world today and respond to the theme Stand up to Hatred.
