Tony Interesting note under John's image: "Nice to see you here! Please don't troll..." Hmmm. No-one is aking for a "direct response" although that would be nice. "Any response" would be good enough. They're missing the point of Social Networking...

Lindah J Campbell

Lindah J Campbell Mr. Hone Harawira has had his 3 minutes of fame. Do we need to hear 3 days of news media reporting on his degrading racial remarks, no. Lets move on. We have all races living here in relative harmony and its a great little country to bring kids up in.

Tony

Tony Agreed. I'm a National supporter too. Give it a day or two more. If John and his people people can't be bothered commenting then niether can I ...

As Richard Sutherland suggested we need someone on Johns behalf to take over this facebook page, does anyone vote for me?

Wake up Prime Minister. As I have expressed before I am a National Party supporter but I do not hide my head in sand. You are losing support over your handling of Hone, to tell the truth your lack of anything on this matter, stop being so PC, that went out the window when he made the comments. New Zealanders will be wo...ndering what is the real purpose of the Maori Party when even they will not deal with Hone. This would not be allowed if this was around the other way. Please stand up and be a leader.Read more

Hi John,
The environment court has just turned down Meridian Energy's bid to put a wind farm on the Lammermoor Ranges. While I agree this is a beautiful area, I think the idea of burning less coal is a greater priority as is ensuring our energy stocks for the future. This government needs to overthrow the ridiculous Lab...our laws that make it impossible to get strategic assets built in this country. It could start by overruling the environment court on this one.Read more

Does anyone recall when reading in Abel Tasman or James Cook's diaries reference to the New Zealand fishing fleet or for that matter bustling fish markets trading shell fish and other produce caught below the low water mark? No because there was no such thing. Why then does this Hone Harawira character then say that pa...keha stole it and he is going to get it back. How can you get back something that was never yours, where's the "expectation"? Sounds like a certain small group of individuals trying to get a bit richer on the back of the Treaty..Read more

Flick Boucher

Flick Boucher A quote from this morning's Herald on the government's proposed scheme for leaky homes: "To qualify for the 10%, owners will need to poor, old, and pay 64%". Does anyone else notice a certain flaw in that logic? How are you meant to be poor and pay 64%? So beyond belief I don't know what to say. Come on John......!!!!

John Key
Prime Minister John Key officially launched construction of the first New Zealand Cycle Trail project at Waipa Domain on the banks of the Waikato River today. The $3 million to complete these two sections of the Waikato River Trail will be funded from the National Cycle Trail Fund...

Well, neither John, nor his Admin ever bother commenting. No offense, but I don't really see the point of this page. All the articles and videos are simply pasted from NZ's news sites, making this just another billboard for people who like airing their political views. A missed opportunity for John to relate to everyd...ay Kiwis. Even a couple of comments a week from him directly, or via his Admin would keep the members engaged in healthy debate.Read more

Jeremy Herbert

Jeremy Herbert leaving issues like this to brew is certainly not going to "improve racial relations". How about we all excercise the right to freedom of speech and let Hone know your reaction to his opinions, http://www.facebook.com/hone.harawira?ref=search&sid=677126548.1057485617..1 . Just a warning though if you write anything near to what Hone did your Facebook account will probably be suspended... funny that.
