The internet APN can be selected as default under JoikuBoost settings.

Typically operators provide three APNs with sim card settings: One for WAP, one for MMS and one for Internet. The correct APN for JoikuBoost is Internet.

Hi, the speed depends from the 3G operator. Are the operators same in both cases?

Hi, Unfortunately Blackberry has not opened the interfaces to code the features for JoikuSpot. Same applies for iPhone and Android. JoikuSpot supports about forty Symbian S60 3rd and 5th ed phones, full list at http://www.joikuspot.com.

For Windows Mobile we suggest using http://www.wmwifirouter.com

Technically there are no issues doing JoikuSpot or JoikuBoost for SonyEricsson Symbian S60 models. We just need to do the certfied signing for those vendors. JoikuSpot Premium already works for Samsung models,

Technically there are no issues doing JoikuBoost for Samsung and SonyEricsson Symbian S60 models. We just need to do the certfied signing for those vendors. As JoikuBoost requires quite a lot capabilities, this typically takes some time.

Matthew Hi your software is great. I downloaded it to my Nokia E71, and it's given me 3mb download on the UK 3 network. Much better than my fixed line 1/2 mb. Does anyone know why my PSP and PS3 can't find the Joiku hotspot?? It's very annoying. Do I need the premium version? Apart from that it's great.

Hi, Unfortunately PSP, PS3 and Nintendo DS require that wireless internet connection is created on WLAN infrastructure mode. Currently Symbian OS used in Nokia and other phones does not allow this.

Stuart White I have a N97 and use it with an IPOD Touch, It's great but how I cannot get the IPOD to use the N97 GPS Positioning function of the Joikuspot software.
Can anybody help me with this.
The N97 is good with google maps but the IPOD Touch is great with Google Earth and uses WiFi GPS from hotspots to determine it's location.

Hi, the only software that shares the GPS signal from Symbian phones is Symarctic ExtGPS. It uses Bluetooth for sharing. The software is free and you can get from here: http://www.joiku.com/?action=products&mode=productDetails&product_id=351#

What is the purpose of the GPS Positioning option under settings of the Joikuspot Software?
Phone + Ipod Touch + Joikuspot = Iphone.
Without this function it is not quite true!
