Scouts get on the slopes for Alpine Adventure
As part of our continued campaign to put adventure back into the lives of young people, Scouts from across Birmingham and Hereford and Worcester have been swapping the shops for the slops and their schoolbooks for snowboards as they embarked on an alpine adventure.

Some 80 young people and Leaders, ranging from locals to a minibus full of Scouts from East Dorset headed to London Docklands for the launch of KidsOutdoors.
Also with us were a dozen sixth form students from Leyton College who had recently had their first taste of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme - proving that Ki...dsOutdoors is for everybody, not just Scouts.
They all spent a whole afternoon at the project, trying out a number of exciting outdoor activities including a climbing tower, high ropes course and even an oasis of climbing palm trees! Read more
