NTA's Director of Industry and Government Relations, Matt Grayson, accepts one of the U.S. Department of Commerce's limited Market Development Cooperator Program Awards. NTA will use this grant to create a Visit USA center, co-located with the United States Commercial Service, in Shanghai, China. The center will promot...e group leisure travel to the U.S., allowing NTA to further its work with its China Inbound Program. Proposed programs and services that will be available from the Visit USA Center include distribution of information on U.S. destinations, development of a Chinese-language Web site to promote leisure group travel, and creation of mini-trade shows and road shows to promote the U.S. as a destination.Read more
National Tour Association Convention '09 appointment schedules were posted yesterday. The average number of appointments for suppliers is 25 and the average for DMOs is 21! And, there has already been 400 appointments scheduled using Direct Request! Can't wait to see everyone in Reno!
