Important change: When searching for Pinyin words, do not use spaces to separate the individual syllables. This will work: nihao, beijing, zhong1wen2 This won't work: ni hao, bei jing, zhong1 wen2 Pinyin word searches now behave the same way as Chinese words searches....

@Derrick: The non-popup with Ch, PY and Eng is a bit of an oddball indeed. Before all of these just had the name "Annotate", the question is however: What would a first time user expect seeing the word "Annotate"? Would a first time user understand that "Annotate" would allow you... Read more to do fancy schmancy popups? What if I'd call it "Inline/popup annotation"? Or any other suggestions?

@Cheny: On the main page, click "Look up All Chinese Words in a Text", then you'll find it as on option, there's even an arrow pointing to it "<-- text annotation moved here"

Currently about 12% of the visits to the dictionary website are using IE6. Which is rather surprising since Microsoft already released 2 new major versions and plenty of free alternatives (like Firefox) are available as well.

Time to switch! ;-)
