World record breaker Mark Beaumont is cycling from Anchorage, Alaska to Ushuaia in Southern Argentina. He'll also climb the two highest peaks on the continent, McKinley and Aconcagua.

Adrenaline running high. Just got caught up in a protest. Lots of men with balaclavas, some armed, riot police. Couldnt get past or retreat

Stopped for food and went into the kitchen to film it being prepared by a mother with a one month old baby on her back.

There is a real buzz from filming a cracking sequence. Sometimes you know straight away that something will be in the documentary.
