This is NAKADIA...
Back in 2002 a little girl from the rural areas of Thailand discovered club music on a first trip to Europe. Infected by the sounds of electronic music, she bought turntables and started to practice. What happened in the years between then and now is one amazing deejay story. Starting her craft without any background of music or heroes to look up to, NAKADIA was guided by her talent only through the jungle of sounds and styles, to finally let her become one of Asia’s very few world class deejays, the unique artist that she is today.

Only a very small group of deejays are gifted with all the factors that make the difference to be unique. Talent and passion combined with a strong personality that changes the room these artists enter. NAKADIA has it all: She is full of life and energy and translates this into her sets the way only NAKADIA does it. She manages to lift a boring party into madness and turns haters into lovers. How many people have talked bad about her in the past and how many have tried to stop her on her way. But NAKADIA’s success is still growing by the day without a big agent in the background pulling the strings, without people pushing her because she got the looks. Her looks are actually slowing her down, as often the surface is all people want to see. NAKADIA just being herself is what makes this girl such a sought after artist: A deejay with the ability to infect people, making them happy through music.

Until 2009 NAKADIA has played over 200 clubs across 46 countries. With a full schedule for months in advance, playing major clubs and festivals around the world, she is still trying to be home on Koh Samui as much as she can. Her second home is Berlin, where she just started an exciting new project with deejay partner Steve Nash. Both have been friends for years and decided to create the deejay team NAKA & NASH. Their first appearance will be during the „Sonne Mond und Sterne“ festival in Germany, August 2009. The first tracks of NAKA & NASH are finished and a lot of studio work is planned for the second half of 2009. NAKADIA will continue to inspire and surprise for the years to come – this is for sure!
