Neurofibromatosis, Inc. It was a special birthday surprise for Megan Duff when she saw her picture and a story about her mom Kate on page 1 of their hometown newspaper. Megan has NF1 and this year Kate and six of her friends joined the Lessing’s Friends Ride for NF held annually on Cape Cod. Their group, named Megan’s Maniacs, trained for mon......ths to do the 85 mile bike ride and all finished strong and raised over $5,000 for NF research. Dear NF families,
Do you have a child or know a child with NF who is struggling? Who is undergoing chemotherapy? Who is about to go through a tough medical procedure or surgery? Or maybe who just needs some extra TLC? We are now offering care packages to give these children a lift. Twelve year-old Elana Loftspring went ...through surgery this summer, and knows how they feel. She would like to send your child a care package (at her expense) to bring joy to them. If this would help your child, contact Elana Loftspring at htowngirl6y@gmail.com. She will ask you some questions so she will be able to customize the package for 5 - 14 year olds. All information will be kept confidential.
