my mom passed away November 2007 after being diagnosed Sept 2007. It was horrible to see her in such pain. At least she didnt suffer long, but i miss her so much. It will be 2 years on Monday 23rd Nov since my sisters and I lost her. RIP mamma

Emma Hughes I lost my mum to this in September just 9 weeks after her diagnoses. This is such a horrific cancer and NEEDS more funding. I have since raised over £200 and plan to continue raising. My mum not only leaves me behind but my two little girls who she loved so much. Miss you mum x

Items for sale proceeds to PCRF - Please look out for more once we have a look at the rest of the house. I have been selling for PCRF for about a year now, 50% of my sales go to the charity, and I have so far donated around 100GBP.

Lisa My brother and I ran the Great North Run yesterday in memory of our fanastic uncle Cliffy Geddes. We have raised over £1000 for PCRF and will definately be doing it again next year. After Howard's death in August 2008, the decision was made to do the other walk that Howard had wanted to complete – Hadrian's Wall. Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund Howard Kerr was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2007. One of his ambitions had been to walk , a long distance walk in the south of England.

He decided to fulfil his ambition and raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund at the same time. While most people take five or six days to do the walk, Howard wanted to... do it in three.

He persuaded friends, family and colleagues to join him on the 87 mile trek, and so on a windy day in April 2008, they set off...
