Joy Smith I have been a fan of Phyllis ever since I first heard her voice such a tall, statue of a African American Woman who knew what she wanted and went after it. Something I admire greatly. R.I.P.

Bryan Reeves She was truly the orginal Songstess

I'm guessing we all think of Phyllis as "Old Friend". This song goes straight to my heart. Ironic that Phyllis has reached legendary status after her death. Sad.
