CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!!
Express FM and The New Theatre Royal are working in conjunction on the new LIVING MEMORIES project based in the city.
The premise of the project is to go out amongst the community and collect their memories about the city, their childhood, the theatre etc. These will then be used two-fold.
Firstly... to form the inspiration behind 10 performance vignettes to be performed at The New Theatre Royal, and Secondly as the basis of Express FM's very own radio soap to be aired in April.
If you fancy turning your hand at:
- Memory Collecting
-Story Lining
- Editing
- Script Writing
- Acting
- Dancing
- Digital Art
Then come to the meeting we are going to be holding at The New Theatre Royal on Wednesday 2nd December, between 7.30 & 8.30pm.

Geoff & Andy are taking the Soft Rock Show on the road this week, all the way to the Kings Barn in Fernhurst to do the show live in the company of The Old Boys Network.
For those who don't know The Old Boys Network are a rock band like no other. With years of individual experience under their belts, Bernie and Steve cam...e together in 2005 to start a new project, swiftly after, long time friend Chris joined the band and The Old Boys Network was formed!
Having already featured on the Mid-Morning Show, The Old Boys Network will be in again on Drive Time with Adrian Knight before the live night to promote their evening with the Soft Rock Boys! So keep an ear to Express to find out more.
The boys will be performing and chatting live with Geoff & Andy between 8 & 10pm, so make sure you are tuned in.

A Little About Bluey:
20 year old Bluey Robinson is the boy next door. Born in 1988 he grew up on The Jackson 5, Bob Marley, Phil Collins, UB40 and The Drifters. These foundations set his musical taste and later, influenced his style today.
Born of Swedish and Trinidadian descent, Bluey moved to South London from Sweden the year he was born.
Keen to be heard and seen Bluey started his career in entertainment in 1999, and in 2002 landed the role of ‘Simba’ in West End musical The Lion King. Most recently T4 featured his forthcoming music career on T4’s Orange Rock Corp as part of the concert that was held at The Royal Albert Hall in September 2008.
