The Duke of York's School Old Boys match for U30 will be a Memorial Game for Richard this Saturday at Dover RFC, Kick off is 12.30pm there will be a minutes silence at the start. I met Richard during my visit to MOD Cosforth to see my brother Daniel Weldon graduate. There was a period when my brother was away sorting out some things before his leave. I was greeted by him as I was waiting in the lounge area and we spoke about my training in the regiment and exchanged views and had a laugh with e...ach other. When I heard about what happened it really did come as a shock and Is so tragic this has happened. For me it was clear Richard was a smart intelligent fit member of the Airforce and It aspired me after meeting him as a was sure in myself he was a commited individual and would serve well in his career as an officer.
